The current issue of this Recommendation provides a Stage 2 and Stage 3 Description [5] for Alarm Surveillance to support the associated TMN management service component described in Recommendation M.3400 [4]. In this document, both fine-grained and coarse-grained (i.e., facade) interfaces are defined for the alarm management functions. The fine-grained and facade interfaces are providing the same support for alarm management.
