(...) Shortly afterwards, the immobilised group was surprised
by a red 1990 Chevrolet carrying about eight Iraqi soldiers commanded by an
I r a q i f i r s t l i e u t e n a n t , They opened fire on the Kuwait1 group which was
t h e r e f o r e o b l i g e d t o r e t u r n t h e f i r e a n d t o rescue the ind iv idua l s in the
brokon-down vehicle and set off to rejoin the remaindor of the Kuwaiti group
and report the incident to Captain Wink and Captain Point. A UNIKOM vehicle
sot out immediately for the scone of the incident, accompanied by a colonel
and a Kuwaiti officer, and arrived at the same time as an Observation Mission
h e l i c o p t e r .

The owner of goods, the captain or the operator of the means of
transportation or the agent performing customs procedures shall be obliged to ensure the original state of goods and customs seals; where the original state of goods or of customs seals is not maintained due to force majeure, upon carrying out necessary measures to prevent and limit all losses which may occur, he or she shall inform the nearest customs office or people's committee of the nearest commune, ward or township for certification, as soon as practicable.
(...) To carry out customs inspection and control; in the case of discovery of
indications of a breach of the laws on customs having been committed, to request the owner of goods, the captain or the operator of the means of transportation or the authorized person to perform the requirements for inspection or search of goods or means of transportation in accordance with the provisions of the law;

goods at places for customs procedures and places of inspection of imported or exported goods;

operate on the route and stop at the place stipulated;

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres will award the “Captain Mbaye Diagne Medal for Exceptional Courage” to the late Captain Abdelrazakh Hamit Bahar of Chad during the International Day of UN Peacekeepers commemorations in New York on Thursday, 26 May 2022.

On 2 April 2021, Captain Abdelrazakh was deployed at the Aguelhok Super Camp in north-east Mali when it was attacked by an armed terrorist group attempting to seize the base and its outposts. (...) While attempting to secure the perimeter, Captain Abdelrazakh noticed armed assailants entering a house near the camp.
