Highlighting the fact that discipline and respect play a significant role in sport it becomes essential to voice about and draw the attention of the international community to the incidents becoming more and more common in the policy of Azerbaijan towards Armenia in the sphere of sport, which misuses sporting events for the purposes of propaganda of hatred and racism against Armenian sportsmen and the nation they represent. (...) The initial hostile audience response to these athletes continued in individual sports events, even toward some of those 17 ethnic Armenian athletes who represented countries (Belarus, France, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine) other than Armenia (...) A/HRC/41/G/12 GE.19-14540 6 discrimination in sports on the basis of nationality or ethnic origin.

(...) The member states reiterate the importance of stepping up common efforts to prevent and preclude the proliferation of terrorist, separatist and extremist ideologies. (...) They support the consistent efforts to implement the Agreement on Cooperation in Physical Fitness and Sport signed by the authorised bodies of the SCO member states in 2019 and will help create favourable conditions for promoting physical fitness and sport, seek to strengthen friendly relations through physical fitness and sport, motivate athletes to take part in international sporting events, foster cooperation in developing Olympic, Paralympic and national sports, and also facilitate direct contacts between sports federations.

The meeting led to the creation of three Polish-German task groups charged with running consultations and finding agreement on common positions regarding different thematic areas: historical and legal issues/the culture of memory, science and language support, as well as, other supporting measures 6. (...) Also persons who are put in such cells are eligible for longer walks (by 30 minutes) and for additional recreation and educational activities or physical education and sports activities. Decisions to place a convicted person in conditions described above are subject to court oversight. (...) In order to ensure coordination and evaluation of actions, a Council for the Prevention of Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and the related Intolerance, an opinion-making and advisory body of the Council of Ministers, is planned to be created; 2) Analysis of textbooks to see how they address the issue of equal treatment and combating discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, faith, political views, age, sexual orientation, marital and family status; 3) Educational and promotional measures such as: I and II Conference “NO to Racism in Sport”, Conference “How to Bring Up Children so that They Do Not Think in Stereotypes”, the Diversity Day, which is a part of the EU campaign “For Diversity – Against Discrimination”; the“The Power of Women is the Power of the Company” conference; “I Am the Boss” and “Father at Work, Father at Home” competitions. 4) Establishing an award of the Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment in a breaking stereotypes in advertising competition – “Cristal Crowbars”; 5) An election TV spot “We Are Different – We Are Equal” promoting equality irrespective of sex, age, race, disability or sexual orientation.

The Independent Expert was informed that the Olympic Committee and the Pan American Sports Organization had been supporting projects in the field of sport, as well as other projects on solidarity, particularly in rural areas. 37. (...) The Independent Expert was informed that this type of cooperation also benefited Cuba, as the teachers who were sent abroad brought back the good practices they had learned from the countries they had visited, with the possibility of replicating those practices in Cuba. 3. Sports 62. In 2000, the International School of Physical Education and Sports was created with the purpose of bringing young people from poor countries to Cuba to study physical education, with a specialization in a specific sport, after which they would return to their country of origin. (...) The feedback from the Cuban embassies revealed that more than 2,000 of those graduates, representing the majority of those that had graduated, had returned to their countries of origin and were indeed working in the fields of sport, physical education and leisure. 63. Cuba also offers international support to other countries by sending Cuban sportsmen and sportswomen to, among others, Haiti and African countries to provide assistance as sports technicians, teachers and trainers.

A/72/109 S/2018/820 4/4 18-14916 ③ The two sides agreed to declare the end of war this year that marks the 65th anniversary of the Armistice Agreement and actively promote the holding of trilateral meetings involving the two sides and the United States, or quadrilateral meetings involving the two sides, the United states and China with a view to replacing the Armistice Agreement with a peace agreement and establishing a permanent and solid peace regime. ④ The two sides confirmed the common goal of realizing, through complete denuclearization, a nuclear-free Korean peninsula.

We encourage further exchanges, mutual learning, and cooperation in culture, education, science, technology, sports, health, tourism, media and at sub -national levels, to further consolidate the public support for China-Africa relations. 16.1 We underscore the importance of advocating common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security. (...) We will enhance coordination and cooperation on affairs related to African peace and security to uphold our common interests through the meetings and consultations between China and Africa’s non-permanent members of the Security Council. (...) We emphasize that the historical injustice endured by African countries should be corrected, that priority should be given to increasing the representation of African countries at the UN Security Council and other agencies, and that concerted efforts should be made to steer the reform of the international governance system toward better serving the common interests of developing countries. China wil l enhance communication and coordination with Africa’s non-permanent members of the Security Council to jointly uphold the common interests of the two sides and developing countries as a whole.
