Description Partners Place and Date Event Bilateral meetings with OAPEC and IsDB focussed on building an effective partnership on Climate Change. GEIDCO, IsDB and OAPEC Madrid, 2-13 December 2019 Participation in high-level bilateral meetings between ESCWA, led by the Executive Secretary, and GEIDCO led by the Secretary-General, where a memorandum of understanding was signed on joint work for two years and bilateral meetings with both OAPEC and IsDB This event addressed sustainable energy and targeted the young generation to highlight the importance of sustainable energy and its interconnections with water, climate change, food and the Sustainable Development Goals.
