One primary school, numerous houses, facilities and manufacturing plants were shot by artillery and many vehicles and high voltage power lines were damaged. (...) At 19:20 one of the missiles launched in direction of Shikharkh village made an impact on the vehicle, model “Niva-2121” driven by the settler Aliyev Sadig Natig, born 1987. At the result the passenger of the vehicle Asadli Farman Elchin, born 1992, passed away from blood loss caused by the numerous shrapnel wounds. Driver and the other passenger Rahimov Mubariz Vagif, born 1982 received numerous shrapnel wounds.

As of October 1, 2020, 19 Azerbaijani civilians were killed, 55 were injured and more than 200 houses and civilian facilities were destroyed. The land rights problem is closely related to the issues surrounding economic development strategies as they affect the areas in which indigenous peoples live. Numerous indigenous communities have taken advantage of new economic opportunities provided by changes in productive activities, adjusting their lifestyles accordingly. (...) The tension generated by these problems has frequently led to protest action by indigenous organizations, leading to confrontation and conflict. Activities that have been implemented in order to address gender based violence, include monitoring the work of numerous institutions in the country with responsibilities to combat gender based violence, key national programmes aimed at combatting gender based violence as well as the State’s compliance with numerous domestic legislation and international instruments.
