These were the reasons which led to the founding of the Stoke Mandeville Games by Sir Ludwig in July 1948, when a small party of 16 paralyzed ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen took part in archery competitions. (...) Towards the end of 1967 his dream of building a huge sports complex for all disabled began to take form, and in July 1969 the Stoke Mandeville Sports Stadium for the Paralyzed and other Disabled was opened by Queen Elizabeth. Four major Games are held at Stoke Mandeville annually: The Multi-disabled Children's Games, the National Stoke Mandeville Games, the International Stoke Mandeville Games and the Adult Multi-disabled Games.

Iako je Pretresno vijeće smatralo da postoje dovoljni dokazi koji bi, ako im se vjeruje, mogli dovesti do zaključka da je nekoliko stotina grla stoke bilo prisvojeno tokom napada ili neposredno poslije njih, utvrdilo je da je bilo kakva krivična odgovornost Nasera Orića kako prema članu 7(1) tako i prema članu 7(3) neutralizovana stvarnom i postojećom nužnošću da nabavi hranu za preživljavanje srebreničkog stanovništva. (...) Pretresno vijeće je konstatovalo da nema dokaza da je otuđivanje stoke bilo nesrazmjerno niti da su direktni počinioci otuđivanja stoke sami izazvali takvu humanitarnu situaciju, već da su ta djela bila neophodna za preživljavanje srebreničkog stanovništva.

Vršili su progone bosanskog muslimanskog stanovništva na političkoj, rasnoj i verskoj osnovi, što je uključivalo ubijanje i maltretiranje muslimanskih civila ili zatočenika, granatiranje i napad na gradove, sela i naselja koji nisu bili branjeni, namerne napade na civilno stanovništvo, protivpravno uništavanje poslovnih prostora, domova, lične imovine i stoke, institucija namenjenih religiji i obrazovanju, protivpravno postupanje sa zatočenicima, progon političkih voña i stručnjaka koji su ubijani ili zatvarani u razne zatočeničke centre na duži vremenski period, pljačkanje kuća i lične imovine, premeštanje civila ili prisiljavanje istih da se isele iz Lašvanske doline u područja naseljena većinskim muslimanskim stanovništvom i izvršenje drugih nehumanih dela. Ta dela i protivpravno uništavanje domova, lične imovine i stoke stotina bosanskih Muslimana, koje nije opravdano vojnom nuždom, imali su za cilj da osiguraju da se oni stanovnici koji nisu ubijeni ne mogu ili ne žele vratiti u svoje domove i zajednice na području Lašvanske doline.
