As the art of manuscript bookmaking and bookbinding evolved, red, dark blue, and gold grounds began to appear in the medallions, overlaid with tracery.

The broad artistic field includes miniatures painting and book illumination (manuscript decoration) of this period, displays the continuity of an artistic environment already prosperous. (...) This consequently led to the development of the field of book illuminations.
Earlier in the 11 th century CE, when the Seljuks arrived from the Central Asian steppes to the Iranian plateau and Mesopotamia, they also introduced their figurative artistic traditions. (...) The influences coming from the East are displayed in the Persian heroic epic Shahnameh (“The Book of Kings”). Written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi in the beginning of the 11 th century, it was then illustrated three centuries later thanks to the eastern graphic language.

I write with reference to my letter of 2 December 2003 (S/2003/1151). (...) Section 13 provides for the examination of books, records and accounts by
the Central Bank in cases of suspected unlicensed banking. (...) No person in Mauritius has been
prosecuted for inviting support for proscribed organisations and other terrorist groups or
organisations.
1.8 Sub-paragraph 2 (e) requires that terrorists and their supporters be
brought to justice.
