While biodiversity for food and agriculture will be significantly affected by climate change, it will also be an important element in the development of production strategies to meet the challenges of climate change. Unfortunately, biodiversity for food and agriculture and climate change have rarely been discussed together. Previous global assessments on climate change dealt with the possible impacts of climate change on biodiversity, ecosystem services and food and agriculture separately. (...)
