NINTH MEETING OF THE METEOROLOGY SUB-GROUP (MET SG/9) 7 - 9 December 2020 Agenda Item 5 : Review of Air Navigation Deficiencies in the MET Field 2 of 5ICAO MID MET SG9 MET SG/9 Review of Air Navigation Deficiencies in the MET Field • The MIDANPIRG/17 meeting urged States to use the MID Air Navigation Deficiency Database (MANDD) for the submission of requests for addition, update, and elimination of Air Navigation Deficiencies, including the submission of a specific Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for each deficiency. • The meeting reiterated that a deficiency would be eliminated only when a State submit a formal Letter to the ICAO MID Office containing the evidence(s) that mitigation measures have been implemented for the elimination of this deficiency. • The total number of MET deficiencies is ten (10); all are priority “A”.
