The agenda of the consultative meeting was divided into five sessions, covering different aspects of strengthening the role of national rapporteurs on trafficking in persons A/HRC/26/37/Add.1 GE.14-12314 5 and equivalent mechanisms and the potential for cooperation and coordination between them and with other actors.3 III. In the case of Myanmar, a new software programme was installed in 2010, with the support of the United Nations Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking, into which the data on trafficking cases covering the period from January 2006 to the present had been entered. (...) It was also argued that the national rapporteurs and equivalent mechanisms should not report only on trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation, as is the case in many countries, but should also cover forced marriage, forced labour and trafficking of people for the removal of organs.

Nihal Saad took part as a panelist in two main discussions on “The Complexities of Covering Islam and Muslim Debates” and “Politics of Being Muslim in America”. The panel discussions provided a platform for journalists and journalists in-training to exchange views on Muslim life in America and medias role in covering ethnicity and religion. UNAOC participated in a discussion on “Nationalism and Xenophobia in the Context of Security Council resolution 2250 (2015) organized by United Nations’ youth delegates of Luxembourg and Romania on 12 October at the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations in New York.

LOCAL MANAGEMENT OF PLANS AND PROJECTS: INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT PREPARATION
Thus, it is possible to have: a) Integrated projects: those covering all the infrastructure sectors in a balanced manner; b) Multisectoral projects: those covering several infrastructure sectors; c) Sector-specific projects: covering only one infrastructure sector at a time, such as: - water supply projects; - sanitation projects; - solid-waste collection and disposal projects; - energy distribution projects; - road and footpath projects. 2. Accordingly, it would be possible to have the following types of projects: a) Comprehensive projects: those dealing in a balanced manner with all the aspects of infrastructure provision and operation, such as capital investment, institution building, research, human resources development, financing, operation and maintenance; b) Projects dealing with same aspects of infrastructure provision and 14 use: those covering more than one of the aspects of infrastructure provision and operation mentioned above; c) Projects dealing with one aspect _of_infrastructure provision and use: i) Capital investment projects: relating to actions directly geared to the construction and/or physical (technical) improvement of infrastructure services. (...) The present chapter provides a general description of the information items to be included in a project proposal. They cover the information requirements for the conventional stages of: a) Identification of needs; b) Establishment of order of priority of needs and definition of project objectives; c) Project preparation; d) Project appraisal; e) Project approval.

A national response, by definition, needs to be inclusive, covering all situations of internal displacement and groups of IDPs without discrimination. (...) A set of training modules covering these issues exists, which Governments may find useful to draw upon in their own training initiatives or to request training workshops. (...) In other instances, Governments have adopted comprehensive national laws on internal displacement, covering all phases of displacement. Another approach has been to review and analyse existing national legislation in terms of its compatibility with the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement and to revise legal and administrative regulations accordingly.
