The Committee presumes that only in very exceptional cases will the Secretary-General concur in any derogation from th~ provision, for example, where it is proposed to confer an honorary degree upon a member of the Secretariat or to award a decoration in recognition of services rendered prior to a member•s appointment to the Secretariat." 4. The National Drug Plan Department shall further maintain a register in which shall be entered the particulars of the individuals or corporate bodies awarded decorations and shall send certificates of such entries if so requested by the individuals or corporate bodies concerned. 5.
