A total of 5014 patients were evaluated by the m-health app and the results compared against dermatologist diagnosis. The app demonstrated an overall top-1 accuracy of 76.93 +/- 0.88% and a mean area-under-curve of 0.95 +/- 0.02. (...) The app’s analysis of a single image of the lesion was compared to the consensus diagnosis made by two board-certified dermatologists. Only patients, for whom the treating board-cer tified dermatologist was confident of the diagnosis and the diagnosis was cross-verified by another board-certified dermatologist, were included. (...) There needs to be mechanism to capture patient symptomatic, history and other aspects that are typically captured when a patient sees a dermatologist in person.

There is great and urgent need to have more dermatologists. However, the outpatient waiting areas of dermatology clinics in provincial hospitals are always overcrowded, and the medical staffs are always working overtime. While the dermatology training of basic-level practitioners, including rural practitioners, community general practitioners, and county dermatologists is not enough.
China is a large country with a population of 1.3 billion, while, the number of Chinese dermatologists is only 22000. There is an urgent need for a change of medical-seeking pattern in dermatology to improve the deficiency in number of dermatologists. Thus, it is imperative to standardize the Medical Big Data and Internet+Medical, explore the area of artificial intelligence and promote the new medical-seeking pattern such as Internet+Medical.

VISIT TO BRAZIL :REPORT OF THE INDEPENDENT EXPERT ON THE ENJOYMENT OF HUMAN RIGHTS BY PERSONS WITH ALBINISM, IKPONWOSA ERO
The Independent Expert found that access to specialized doctors, such as
ophthalmologists, dermatologists, paediatricians, oncologists and psychologists, was
particularly challenging as they tend to be concentrated in city centres. (...) The Independent Expert was also informed that often, the process of registration with
the municipality, requiring an examination from a dermatologist, was too tiresome and
complicated to navigate. Many of her interlocutors reported routinely sharing their sunscreen
lotion with those who had none, or they used free samples distributed at times by
dermatologists or the Association of Persons Living with Albinism in Bahía State.
