The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 76/126,
in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to it, at its seventy-
seventh session, through the Economic and Social Council, a report on the
implementation of the resolution, containing an assessment of the assistance actually
received by the Palestinian people, an assessment of the needs still unmet and specific
proposals for responding effectively to them. The reporting period is from 1 April
2021 to 31 March 2022.

• On 21 May, Palestinian civil society unions, organizations, human rights and advocacy groups including members of the Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC)
and the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) issued a joint
statement to call for effective measures by all States to strop Israel’s illegal annexation of
areas in the occupied West Bank and grave violations of human rights. (...) Speakers included experts Susan Power,

practical and legal ramifications of Israel’s de facto and de jure annexation of the occupied
