(...) Veterinary Requirements to Importing One-Day Chicken, Turkey, Ducklings and( Incubative Eggs of These Kinds of Poultry
Importation to Ukraine is admitted for healthy chicken, turkey, ducklings and incubative eggs of these kinds of poultry which originate from the farms and administrative territories where the following contagious diseases have not been registered:
-African swine fever - during the recent 3 years at the territory of the country;
- foot and mouth disease - during the recent 12 months at the administrative territory (region, state, province, land, area, etc.);
-ornitosis, influenza, Newcastle disease, contagious laringotracheitis, Marek's disease, bronchitis, contagious encefalomielitis, contagious bursitis (Gamboro's disease), contagious chicken anemia, reoviral infection, duck fever, contagious turkey rhinotracheitis - during the recent 12 months in the farm.
(...) Meat must be produced from clinically healthy poultry which originates from the farms and administrative territories where the following contagious animal diseases have not been registered:
- African swine fever - during the recent 3 years at the territory of the country;
- foot and mouth disease - during the recent 12 months at the administrative territory (region, state, province, land. etc.);
- in chicken- and turkey-growing farms - contagious chicken anemia, ornitosis (psittacosis), Newcastle disease, influenza, paramix virus infection, salmonelosis, contagious laringotracheitis, contagious bursitis (Gamboro's disease), contagious encefalomielitis, turkey rhinotracheitis - during the recent 6 months in the farm;
- in geese- and duck-growing farms - influenza, Derji's disease, virus duck hepatitis, ornitosis (psittacosis), Newcastle disease - during the recent 6 months in the farm.

Animal quarantine diseases - the most dangerous contagious diseases of
animals that can greatly damage animals' health and deteriorate the quality of
foodstuff and raw material of animal origin.
Epidemic – situation of a rapid spread and occupation of rather large
territories in relatively short terms of contagious animal diseases having non-stop
character.
(...) The state veterinary control is a complex of organizational and legal measures
aiming at the fulfillment of anti-epidemic activities by the business entities and
citizens, prevention and eradication of contagious and non-contagious animal
diseases, as well as protection of the RA territory from the invasion of contagious
diseases.

1. Upon suspicion of a contagious disease, animal keepers shall notify the regional
state veterinary service without delay and take the necessary measures to prevent a spread
of the disease.

Any contagious and infectious disease classified under lists (A & b) as per the
classification of the International Office of Epizooties (OIE) and the forthcoming amendments.
(...) ARTICLE (5.4.1.13):
Semen and Embryos:
)One( They shall be from a collection centre approved by the exporting country.
)Two( The source animals shall be free from the infectious and contagious venereal diseases as per the classification lists “A” and “B” of (OIE).
)Three( It shall be from countries free from the infectious and contagious
diseases mentioned in list “A”.
)Four( The source animals shall be free from any genetical diseases.
)Five( The semen of the dogs and cats shall be from countries free from rabies disease.

The competent veterinary authority shall have the right to detain any
animal inside the Sultanate if it is infected by a disease or suspected of bearing one of the infectious and contagious diseases and apply the
