Pesticide active ingredients and formulations listed by the Rotterdam Convention in its Annex III

Pesticide active ingredients and formulations that have shown a high incidence of severe or irreversible adverse effects on human health or the environment.

STANDARDIZATION OF PROJECT FORMULATION

SUMMARY
This paper suggests a formulation and standardization for the IIM projects. It also reviews their
linkage and formulates a Roadmap for the projects implementation.
(...) Furthermore, paragraph 5 of the APIRG Procedural Handbook indicates that
“project proposals submitted to APIRG for approval shall be formulated on a Project Definition
Template” which has to be developed.
1.2 In this regard, this paper is suggesting a formulation and standardization of project based on a
successful and best practice project presentation format in an ICAO Regional Office.

Bridging is easier if the type and composition pesticide formulations are similar, but products with different a.i. concentrations in the formulated product or which have different formulation types can often also be bridged (see section 3, step 4).

Other cases exist where different formulations can be bridged without a likely significant effect on the risk.
