The Contracting States shall accord to refugees lawfully staying in their territory the same treatment as is accorded to nationals in respect of the following matters; 7 ( a ) In so far as such matters are governed by laws or regulations or are subject to the control of administrative authorities: remuneration, including family allowances where these form part of remuneration, hours of work, overtime arrangements, holidays with pay, restrictions on home work, minimum age of employment, apprenticeship and training, women's work and the work of young persons, and the enjoyment of the benefits of collective bargaining; ( b ) Social security (legal provisions in respect of employment injury, occupational diseases, maternity, sickness, disability, old age, death, unemployment, family responsibilities and any other contingency which, according to national laws or regulations, is covered by a social security scheme), subject to the following limitations: (i) There may be appropriate arrangements for the maintenance of acquired rights and rights in course of acquisition; (ii) National laws or regulations of the country of residence may prescribe special arrangements concerning benefits or portions of benefits which are payable wholly out of public funds, and concerning allowances paid to persons who do not fulfil the contribution conditions prescribed for the award of a normal pension. 2.

Article 6 3 In accordance with article 1 of the present Declaration, and subject to the provisions of article 1, paragraph 3, the right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion or belief shall include, inter alia , the following freedoms: ( a ) To worship or assemble in connection with a religion or belief, and to establish and maintain places for these purposes; ( b ) To establish and maintain appropriate charitable or humanitarian institutions; ( c ) To make, acquire and use to an adequate extent the necessary articles and materials related to the rites or customs of a religion or belief; ( d ) To write, issue and disseminate relevant publications in these areas; ( e ) To teach a religion or belief in places suitable for these purposes; ( f ) To solicit and receive voluntary financial and other contributions from individuals and institutions; ( g ) To train, appoint, elect or designate by succession appropriate leaders called for by the requirements and standards of any religion or belief; ( h ) To observe days of rest and to celebrate holidays and ceremonies in accordance with the precepts of one's religion or belief; ( i ) To establish and maintain communications with individuals and communities in matters of religion and belief at the national and international levels.

The measures taken shall include measures to ensure: (a) That workers belonging to the peoples concerned, including seasonal, casual and migrant workers in agricultural and other employment, as well as those employed by labour contractors, enjoy the protection afforded by national law and practice to other such workers in the same sectors, and that they are fully informed of their rights under labour legislation and of the means of redress available to them; (b) That workers belonging to these peoples are not subjected to working conditions hazardous to their health, in particular through exposure to pesticides or other toxic substances; (c) That workers belonging to these peoples are not subjected to coercive recruitment systems, including bonded labour and other forms of debt servitude; (d) That workers belonging to these peoples enjoy equal opportunities and equal treatment in employment for men and women, and protection from sexual harassment. 4.
