REPORT OF THE SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS, ESPECIALLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN, JOY NGOZI EZEILO : ADDENDUM
Between 2004 and March 2012, 191 victims of trafficking were identified. In the previous year alone, 45 suspected victims of trafficking were identified. (...) DIAC stated that no identified victim of trafficking has ever been placed in immigration detention. 40. (...) Furthermore, the hidden nature of the crime means that not all cases of trafficking are identified. Therefore, the Special Rapporteur concludes that official figures of identified victims may underrepresent the true number of trafficked persons in Australia. 44.

RPT SR TRAFFICKING - MISSION TO SEYCHELLES
The Government had identified this shortcoming, and at the time of the visit of the Special Rapporteur had plans to draft an anti-trafficking Act. (...) The A/HRC/26/37/Add.7 GE.14-04263 12 Department also identified 580 cases of sexual abuse committed on children from 2009 to 2013. Unfortunately, neither these nor other similar cases have been correctly identified as trafficking in persons for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

LETTER DATED 17 DECEMBER 2020 FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
It was mandated to investigate allegations of abuses and serious violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, including allegations of conflict-related sexual violence, committed throughout the territory of Mali between 1 January 2012 and the date of establishment of the Commission; to establish the facts and circumstances concerning the commission of such abuses and violations, including those that may constitute international crimes; to identify those allegedly responsible for such abuses and violations; and to submit to the Secretary-General a written report on its investigation and its conclusions, as well as recommendations, with a view to combating impunity in relation to the abuses and violations identified. 2. The Commission commenced its work at the end of October 2018 and conducted three working visits to Mali. (...) The Commission documented dozens of cases of rape, including at least 11 cases in which the victims identified their attackers as members of MUJAO. As in Timbuktu, the widespread rape took place either when the victims were kidnapped by members of the Islamic police affiliated with MUJAO, or in the context of forced marriages with members of that armed group.
