. - Informal working groups were formed on the following subjects: - review of the proposals for amendments to the standard on Cultivated Mushrooms; - revision of the standard for Kiwi Fruit. - Several proposals made by the UN/ECE/OECD working group on Apples were adopted in principle, including the revision of the list of varieties. (...) The group agreed that Italy could try to hold the experiment again in 1999 and the delegation of the United States offered to provide Italy with further information on the experiences gathered in his country on this matter. Kiwi Fruit 24. The delegation of New Zealand recalled that there had been an initial discussion on a possible revision of the Kiwi Fruit standard at the last session. (...) The following items remain on the agenda: - Proposals for standards on Apples and Pears (including list of varieties), Asparagus, Citrus Fruit (sizing maturity requirements), Cultivated Mushrooms, Kiwi Fruit, Peaches and Nectarines (transport in bulk), Plums (list of varieties only).
