Pangani FM local radio in Tanga, Tanzania, hosted an ICT workshop for 18 participants from nine different local radio stations, on the 17 th to the 19 th of March 2014. (...) Through hands-on experience, group work and practical assignments, the participants explored new techniques and skills by using different tools and ideas for monitoring and evaluation. One of the outcomes of the workshop were different working schedules with the participants’ suggestions on how to monitor and promote the use of ICTs to simplify the data gathering in a best possible way.
(...) The participants had the opportunity to share and exchange experiences and skills for monitoring, evaluation approaches and techniques during this workshop and gained insights on how to track listenership.
