The main aspects of the report are expected to be fundamental for the discussions, namely: Identifying existing trends, perceptions and practices that can be used for knowledge management initiatives in the Caribbean; Assessing current knowledge management practices used by subregional development agencies; and Determining how identified good practices and initiatives could be applied in government ministries and agencies in order to foster sustainable development. The expert group meeting on knowledge management in the public sector will consider approaches to knowledge capture and sharing in order to identify good practices that could be implemented in government ministries and agencies that deal with economic, social and environmental development region-wide.
