Thus, 21 projects in 2009 and 24 projects in 2010 were financed by the Council in this field. The above-mentioned projects covered not only Baku, but also most of the regions of the country. (...) Press conferences, briefings are held on the mentioned topics at the Ministry of Internal Affairs on a regular basis, relevant articles are published on the newspaper of the Ministry “Mübariz keşikdə” (“On guard”) in each of its edition. (...) Furthermore, lectures were organized for parents of underage IDP and refugee children by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the parents were informed about urgent topics like preservation of national-moral values, family culture, inter-generation relations parent-child relations, establishment of mutual relationship between teachers and parents, family problems and the ways of their solution.

The Republic of Azerbaijan that adhered to the above mentioned Convention in June 16, 2000 improved its national legislation in compliance with the principles that were determined by the Framework Convention in the sphere of protection of the rights of national minorities. (...) In these agreements along with mutual exchange of experience, directions of joint participation of nations living in both countries in solution of existing problems, as well as in provision of human rights and freedoms reflected in international conventions were enshrined. (...) As a National Human Rights Institution of the Republic of Azerbaijan guiding with international documents adopted in the sphere of combat against discrimination we consider that National Human Rights Institutions and other human rights organizations should include fight against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance in past and present such as, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, other forms of discrimination based on religious grounds, apartheid, racially and culturally motivated genocides, ethnic cleansing, discrimination against migrants, refugees, ethnic minorities, as well as discrimination based on decent into the priorities of their activity, should join efforts aimed at elimination of mentioned grave crimes resulting in rough violation of human rights and freedoms claiming the punishment of the states committing such criminal acts.

LETTER DATED 2010/09/22 FROM THE PERMANENT MISSION OF CAMBODIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA ADDRESSED TO THE OFFICE OF THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
The Royal Government of Cambodia has an obligation to guarantee social stability for the benefits of all Cambodian citizens; and therefore tackling illegal settlements must be addressed with an appropriate solution striving to make sure that people will have appropriate accommodations for their stay before they leave their illegal settled places. (...) It is a forward looking society as mentioned by the Special Rapporteur. It is in this context that the Cambodia government continues with greater efforts to accelerate the reform process including in the judiciary namely the establishment of the legal framework and the Court that aim to ensure the full independence and credibility of the courts and for protection of all individuals according to the existing laws that establish the principle of separation of powers (executive, legislative and judiciary) with the ultimate goal of strengthening the rule of law under the liberal democratic system. As mentioned in the UPR report of Cambodia, it is acknowledged the shortcomings of the judiciary due to many reasons/challenges associated with its tragic past (and these have been highlighted by the Special Rapporteur in the report).

Judy Williams and the attempt to find a solution for that technical issue was aborted by the hurried travel of the Mission to a destination other than the one in the mandate of the Mission - which is Darfur- to previously unconceived directions which are Addis Ababa and Chad. (...) Ramcharan kept repeating those allegations up to the day of the Special 4th Session on Darfur i.e. 13th December 2006, when he chaired a special session organized by four NGOs on Darfur Crisis in the UN premises in Geneva and he repeated the same above mentioned allegations and even adding to them the allegation of genocide. (...) This is a theme he kept advocating which is based on the above mentioned crimes. The issue of the entry visas The Sudan Government has never objected to issue the visas for the members of the Mission.

According to information received, a A/HRC/4/18/Add.1 page 14 dispute took place on 27 August 2005 between members of the two communities mentioned above that resulted in the death of one member of the Jat community. (...) According to the information received, the implementation of Presidential Regulation 36/2005 on the Provision of Land for the Implementation of Public Interest Development threatens the access to land and livelihoods of the above-mentioned people, and may lead to mass forced evictions in relation to the above-mentioned projects.

It further reiterates the need to emphasize that the presence of those displaced persons is temporary, given that Lebanon refuses to assimilate or integrate them in any way into host communities and that Lebanon, in the light of the existential threat that this issue poses to the country, strives to ensure that the issue is addressed as a matter of priority in any proposed solution to the Syrian crisis and that every effort is made to ensure they are returned to their homes as soon as possible, because that is the only sustainable solution to the question of displaced Syrians in Lebanon. To reiterate its unwavering position that the only possible solution to the Syrian crisis is a political solution achieved through the participation of all Syrian factions, in accordance with the communiqué of the first Geneva conference dated 30 June 2012 and the resolutions adopted and communiqués issued in that regard, in particular Security Council resolution 2254 (2015); to support the efforts of the United Nations to resume the Geneva discussions and arrive at a political solution to the Syrian crisis; and to reiterate that the League of Arab States is determined to support United Nations efforts and ensure the success of the United Nations- sponsored Syrian negotiations aimed at ending the conflict and establishing peace and stability in Syria; 3. To request the Secretary-General of the League to continue consultations and contacts with the United Nations Secretary-General and his Special Envoy for Syria and with the relevant stakeholders, in order to intensify efforts to create a climate conducive to the resumption of the Geneva rounds of negotiations aimed at determining the steps needed for a transitional political solution to the Syrian crisis, in accordance with the communiqué of the first Geneva Conference dated 30 June 2012, the statements of the International Syria Support Group, and the relevant Security Council resolutions; 19.
