The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is pleased to invite two (2) participants per African country to the five days capacity building workshop on Modern Spectrum Management and Spectrum Management Software (SMS4DC), to be repeated in the following dates and countries:
2‐6 March, Zanzibar (event in English) 30 March ‐ 3 April, Tunisia (event in English) 27 April – 1 May, Rwanda (event in French)
The same event will take place in different countries and in different languages. (...) Keeping in mind the profile of audience who are attending the modern spectrum management part, the SMS4DC part is designed to familiarize participants with the main functionalities and capabilities of the SMS4DC, and how the software can support the harmonization and deployment of wireless broadband.

This IFIC includes a new Appendix 8 software that was recently developed using modern programing languages and improved algorithms.
(...) The new Appendix 8 software replaces the existing AP8 module in Graphical Interface for Batch Calculations (GIBC) software. The AP8 software module, that was distributed prior to this release, is removed from BR Software installation.
