President Trump’s white-supremacist ideas have given him a terrible obsession with Venezuela, but we have the peoples of the world on our side and we are prepared to continue defeating the nefarious attacks of the United States Government through political and diplomatic action, and any other necessary means.

It is certainly regrettable that, in promoting these obsessions, the Jordanian letter should have exhibited once again a total lack of compunction in fanning the flames of religious incitement.

Despite the painful bias we see in these decisions we continue to engage with the Council with the hope that eventually member states will be able to prioritize human rights and turn away from this politicization.

Noriega suffers from stupid arrogance and acts like a fanatical member of the Miami terrorist groups obsessed with the destruction of the Cuban Revolution.

While it is not clear why the delegation of Gabon has chosen to take such an initiative, which aims to impose more economic hardships on Eritrea and its people, it is no secret that it is Ethiopia that has been obsessively campaigning against Eritrea. This is very ironic, as it is Ethiopia that has wilfully trampled international law and several resolutions of the Security Council and continues to occupy sovereign Eritrean territory, acts that constitute a grave threat to peace and security in the Horn of Africa.

It is urged not to be obsessed with promoting the worldview of one civilization but to look at the principles and value systems that informed other civilisations and cultures.
