Actually, this document became a manifesto of mankind on the necessity to ensure human rights as one of the most important conclu- sions after World War II. (...) Apart from active participation of the Commissioner in the preparation of reports on human rights, a decision on the participation of the Commissioner and his or her rep- resentatives as the third party in the process of examination of Ukraine’s reports by the UN treaty committees was taken. (...) The UN Committee also recom- mended Ukraine to develop by means of open consultation process a national action plan, directed at implementation of its obligations, assumed according to the interna- tional documents in the area of human rights, particularly according to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The UN Committee again drew attention of the State Party to the necessity to support the activity of the newly established institution of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights as one of the most important social instruments for the protection of rights of the least privileged groups of the Ukrainian popula- tion.

Since the establishment of statehood, the Government adopted a number of acts to promote a legislative framework for the development of agriculture sector that would not cause any environmental damage. 30. One of the vital acts in the agricultural sphere was the Government decision on the Regulation of Cadastre Data of the Agricultural Lands adopted on 21 December 2004. (...) The Law on Constitutional Procedure was adopted on 27 May 2009 and entered into force in on 25 June 2009. (...) Six were rejected due to the lack of compliance with procedural requirements and one was processed. It is indeed a well established tenet of modem international law that the lawful use of force is circumscribed by proper regulation, and this is so from whichever angle one looks at it, whether the customary viewpoint or that of the conventional international law on the subject. (...) Even if the Charter were not a codification of existing custosmry law on non-use of force and self-defence, and there were a clear progressive development leading on to the banning of reprisals involving the use of force, it needs to be stated that this developmental aspect, or the precise foruulatory aspect is surely now a part of international law, whether it be categorized as customary or as one of the "general principles of law recognized by civilized nations". (...) Ну final conclusion on the subject of Nicaragua's Declaration is that while that State's submission to the jurisdiction of the Permanent Court of International Justice was imperfect, so far as the present Court is concerned, Nicaragua's status as a party to the Statute, the effluxion of time -■ 40 years' acquiescence on the part of all concerned - the lack of action by the responsible officials, must all be taken into account.

LETTER DATED 21 NOVEMBER 2019 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF TURKEY TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL
Five points were stressed in this regard: (1) for sustainable peace, all actors involved should be given a say, (2) mediators should use personal skills as well as legal frameworks to approach conflicting parties, (3) mediators’ intent should be genuine and based on a willingness to resolve the conflict, (4) to persuade each conflicting party to take part in negotiations, mediation and peace process as a whole, they should be assured that some parts of the agreement, if not the entire agreement, will be meeting their expectations, and (5) actors involved in peace processes should also include real decision-makers and leaders who will have decisive impact on the outcome of the agreement. (...) Therefore, even when we are talking about a localised conflict, regional and international organisations may be involved. One single mediator or organisation may not resolve a conflict on its own. (...) With regard to conflict analysis, the panellists stressed that technology may help mediators better identify the needs of conflict parties and locate them on their conflict map. When it comes to the engagement with the conflict parties, new technologies enable mediators to reach each conflicting party easily and without additional cost.
