resources etc, are all areas of importance in administrative policies and the success depends largely on
the development of the computerization potentials.
(...) The implementation of the Government Intranet is a vital prerequisite in the development of
the online administration.
A gradual approach has been formulated for its harmonious implementation.

The Working Party on Inland Water Transport,
Considering Resolution No. 40 of the Working Party on Inland Water Transport
concerning the International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC), as amended
by its resolutions Nos. 71 and 83 (ECE/TRANS/SC.3/147/Rev.4),
Taking into account the development of the online database of ICC specimens and
the latest changes concerning the issuance of ICCs,
Bearing in mind the report of the Working Party on the Standardization of Technical
and Safety Requirements in Inland Navigation on its fifty-first session
(ECE/TRANS/SC.3/WP.3/102, paragraphs 80-84),
Decides to amend the text of Resolution No. 40 and Annex IV as contained in the
annex to this resolution,
Requests Governments to inform the Executive Secretary of the United Nations
Economic Commission for Europe whether they accept this resolution,
Requests the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for
Europe to place the question of the application of this resolution periodically on the agenda
of the Working Party on Inland Water Transport.

In 2009,
the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications supported the establishment of the
Japan Internet Safety Promotion Association, which conducts child pornography prevention
programmes and supports the efforts of the business sector to report and eliminate online
child abuse material. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Education
conducts awareness-raising and training activities for schools counsellors and social
workers to strengthen early detection and to facilitate the referral of cases of child abuse.
(...) In recent years, law enforcement bodies have increased their efforts to combat the
online sexual exploitation of children, in particular, the online dissemination of child abuse
material. (...) Combating the sexual exploitation of children online: role of the business sector

30. L’UNICRI a continué de sensibiliser la communauté internationale à
l’importance du sport et des valeurs qu’il véhicule, considérés comme un outil
complémentaire adapté pour promouvoir la justice et l ’inclusion, ainsi qu’un
sentiment d’appartenance et une capacité de résilience. Dans le cadre du Programme
mondial sur la sécurité des grands événements sportifs et la promotion du sport et de
ses valeurs en tant qu’outil de prévention de l’extrémisme violent, l’Institut a
collaboré avec le Bureau de lutte contre le terrorisme, l ’Alliance des civilisations de
l’Organisation des Nations Unies et le Centre international pour la sécurité dans le
sport.

The Government has been working with the Association of Chief Police Officers to
develop True Vision, an online service which offers materials and information for victims
of hate crimes as well as support groups and professionals. It facilitates online reporting of
hate crimes, with the option of anonymity. (...) The Government has also
produced a hate crime app for mobile phones and tablets for information and links to an
online reporting facility. In early 2012 the Government also published a three-year cross-
Government plan to tackle hate crime “Challenge it, Report it, Stop it.”
