The COVID-19 pandemic could be one of the most significant events of the decade because it directly affected our social and professional life. (...) Akademi.al in collaboration with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth, made the platform available immediately to all students for free. (...) More than 250,00 students have benefited from online learning so far and we expect the rest of the students to learn through the platform by 2021.

On October 27, 2012 Fiolent Stadium in Simferopol, Ukraine gathered 36 young people from Mykolaiv, Kherson oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to participate in inter-regional football tournament. The event was held in the framework of Young Football Volunteers: Sport and Volunteering for MDG (YFV) project, supported by UN Volunteers Programme, UN Office on Sport for Development and Peace, UN Development Programme, Ukraines Football Federation, State Service for Youth and Sports (SSYS) and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Any time is Sports Time: Online Campaign in Response to COVID-19 crisis
More than 1 400 000 people participated in #IDSDP2020 online campaign in Kazakhstan. (...) In light of these issues, the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, launched an online information campaign within the framework of the International Day of Sports for Development and Peace to support people’s well-being in times of anxiety, crisis, and fear. activity undertaken (296 out of 683 for which a category was reported, or 34 per cent

meetings; (c) non-governmental organizations; (d) international congress; (e) advisory committees;
(f) expert committees; (g) seminars and training/courses; (h) symposiums; (i) concerts;
(j) performance/theatre; (k) exhibitions; (l) sports events, traditional sports and games; (m) film
screenings; (n) media; and (o) online events.
8 Expected outputs included decisions, recommendations and conclusions addressed to
intergovernmental organizations, promotion of the exchange of knowledge at the international
and national levels, advice on the execution programmes, advice on the formulation of
programmes, training, promotion of cultural expression, promotion of sports and traditional
sports and games, and dissemination of information.
(...) The same applied to online events, which perhaps also reflects the
relatively more disadvantageous economic status of indigenous communities. (...) Furthermore,
UNESCO held an online consultation from August to September 2019.

and cyberbullying feed into each other, forming a continuum of damaging behaviour.
13. Whether online or in person, bullying is among children’s top concerns.
(...) The forum included, for the first time, a session on “Safeguarding the
Future: Online Protection of Underage Users”. The forum, organized in cooperation
with UNICEF and with the participation of the Special Representative, recognized
the opportunities the Internet can bring to children, as well as the risks o f exposure to
online abuse, including cyberbullying. (...) Supported by significant awareness
raising and online resources, and a wide network of human rights volunteers, this
initiative ensures that children’s voices are heard and acted on.
