SECURITY COUNCIL, 16TH YEAR : 948TH MEETING, 10 APRIL 1961, NEW YORK
We have wondered whether such a public discussion might not be liable to disturb this most welcome calm, and whether it would not be preferable if, in an atmosphere free of passion and sheltered from blatant publicity and from rivalries external to the issue, the two parties were able, either directly or through the Mixed Armistice Commission, to settle the difficulty which divides them. 4. 1 was therefore especially happy to hear both parties state that they intended to limit their remarks to the particular question for which our meeting was called, and that they had no wish to aw~en dormant quarrels or revive old grievances.

REPORT OF THE SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF, HEINER BIELEFELDT : ADDENDUM
