These tests are expected to bring the
SolarChill vaccine refrigerator technology to the final stages of commercialization in both countries
and to allow for the transfer of the technology to local and regional private sector producers. In tandem,
the project will explore the potential to market the SolarChill B, an early prototype household/light
commercial refrigerator to help preserve food in nonelectrified rural areas.
