Abolition of death penalty Mongolia has abolished the death penalty de jure by removing death penalty from the Criminal Code. Even though there is a reference to death penalty in the Constitution of Mongolia, any attempt to reintroduce death penalty in Mongolia will not be supported as a State Party obligation under the 2nd Optional Protocol to the ICCPR dictates.

Add a new definition in paragraph 1.2.1: “Unloader” means any enterprise which unloads/discharges dangerous goods off a vehicle or a large container, a tank (tank-vehicle, demontable tank, portable tank or tank-container) a small container for carriage in bulk, a battery-vehicle, a MEMUs or a MEGC. The final text of the amendment on item (cO as proposed by the French, Norwegian and Chilean delegations was as follows: "to combat anti-democratic ideology by removing the remnants of fascism and colla- borationism from the media of information". The first part of the amendment, submitted by the delegation of France, Norway and Chile, to insert after "or of religion" in paragraph (c) "to combat anti-democratic ideology by remov- ing the remnants of fascism and collaborationism from the media of information".
