The UNSRSG has acknowledged the importance of NHRIs in securing respect for human rights in the corporate sphere.7 5. (...) The State must thus provide an environment that facilitates implementation of the respective responsibilities of other actors: “The private business sector, both national and transnational, should pursue its activities within the framework of a code of conduct conducive to respect of the right to adequate food, agreed upon jointly with the Government and civil society.”16 Accordingly, the UN Economic and Social Rights Committee has defined the right to food as: “…realized when every man, woman and child, alone or in community with others, has physical and economic access at all times to adequate food or means for its procurement. (...) Insights and experiences of individual NHRIs concerning respect for and realization of the right to food in relation to agribusiness 15.

It is a fact that since the ousting of the Turkish Cypriot side from the partnership structure in 1963, there exist in Cyprus two separate independent political units and administrations based on the free and democratic will of the two respective peoples - that of the Turkish Cypriot people in the North and that of the Greek Cypriot people in the South. (...) Subsequently, both the Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots were allocated property in their respective regions. The property issue is to be settled through the comprehensive settlement of the Cyprus problem and property is one of the six chapters in the ongoing negotiation process.

As it was once again emphasized by this respective international body, right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and security is at the basis of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

It is an important deterrent against what they rightly regard as the most serious crimes for their respective societies. Some arguments against the death penalty tend to one-sidedly focus on the rights of the offender.

It closely cooperates with the respective stakeholders to implement (1) to eliminate the military dictatorship; (2) to immediately release President U Win Myint, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other detainees; (3) to restore democracy and; (4) to abolish the 2008 Constitution and to adopt the new Constitution which is based on the Federal democratic System. (...) As the counteractions against the CDM, at first, the military group has ordered respective authorities to threaten and call back those staff.

Under clause 16, for the purposes of compliance with the obligations agreed between the employer and the employee, “Your Solutions Honduras shall be jointly responsible with Your Solutions Incorporated” with respect to the rights of employees. Paragraph 33. (...) To that end, the Ministry of Security, by internal agreement and in exercise of its powers, set up the Security Company Registration, Supervision and Oversight Unit, which was to be assisted by the Preventive Services Directorate and the Criminal Investigation Directorate for activities falling within their respective jurisdictions. Article 92 of the Police Act defines preventive services, but article 91, paragraph 4, categorizes private security companies into those providing preventive security (security guards), private investigation or training services. With regard to the private security companies in Honduras that are not legally constituted, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, in coordination with the Ministry of Security within their respective spheres of competence, has held working meetings with some 72 managers of legally constituted and registered private security companies with a view to: (1) ensuring that those companies comply with labour law (allow access by labour inspectors A/HRC/4/G/6 page 6 and respect each worker’s individual rights); (2) urging them to provide information on private security companies that are operating illegally and in unfair competition; and (3) educating such managers about their labour obligations and duties.

It goes without saying that the investment of respective amounts of money especially in this juncture requires reforms for the rationalization and their efficient use to the benefit of minority students. (...) Religious freedom and respect of the Islamic religion is secured not only in minority schools but also in public schools across Thrace, given that the teaching of the Quran is offered as an optional course to Muslim students attending public schools.

Any constructive dialogue must be based on mutual respect and an acknowledgement of different viewpoints. (...) For many countries, the death penalty remains an important component of their criminal justice system and an important deterrent against what they rightly regard as the most serious crimes for their respective societies, be it terrorism, drug offences, or violent crimes.

Recommends to the specialized agencies and the International Atomic Energy Agency that they give the most attentive consideration to the recommendations contained in the report and that they take appropriate measures, within their respective areas of competence, with a view to the earliest possible implementation of those recommendations ; 5.

Seek to harmonize working methods, where possible, with full respect of the independence of all mechanisms. (...) Encourage provision of information on the different processes of the respective mechanisms, including by providing information prior to the consideration of reports, disseminating the conclusions and recommendations of the respective systems and ensuring collaboration in the follow-up to their recommendations. 5. (...) Welcomed the UN-AU cooperation, and called for regular meetings on thematic and procedural issues concerning their respective mechanisms to be convened between the two organizations.
