While noting the enactment in 2005 of a Bill criminalizing the buying of sex from victims of human trafficking and procurement, the Committee regrets the lack of information and data on the prevalence of prostitution in the State party, including clandestine prostitution in massage parlors. The Committee is concerned at the proliferation of plans of actions against trafficking and the lack of coordination among them. 18. The Committee requests the State party to provide complete information and data as well as the result of an on-going study on the exploitation of prostitution of women in its next periodic report, including clandestine prostitution in massage parlors, and an assessment of the law’s implementation to date.
