Panel Report, EU – Energy Package,
paras. 7.347–7.348. 8 (footnote original) 1993 Scheduling Guidelines, para. 11; 2001 Scheduling Guidelines, para. 18. (...) The Appellate Body in US – Gambling stated that other Members’ schedules could be
relevant context for the interpretation of a particular Schedule:
"Both participants, as well as the Panel, accepted that other Members' Schedules
constitute relevant context for the interpretation of subsector 10.D of the United States' Schedule. (...) At the same time, as the Panel rightly acknowledged,
use of other Members' Schedules as context must be tempered by the recognition that
'[e]ach Schedule has its own intrinsic logic, which is different from the US Schedule.'"34

Many businesses now use scheduling systems that match the number of workers on the job with predicted consumer
demand, known as “just-in-time scheduling.” The just-in-time scheduling adjusts and readjusts workers schedule at any
moment, leaving workers with little control over their time. (...) Just-
in-time scheduling practices interfere with daily routines and causes serious psychological distress and uncertainty.22 In a
Harvard study, 46% of those with a variable schedule were classified as having serious psychological distress as
compared with 38% of those with a regular daytime schedule.

RECTIFICATION OF SCHEDULES Matters requiring attention at the Seventh Session
1. (...) Another Question affecting the schedules which requires action by the Contracting Parties is that of giving formal validity to Section B - Belgian Congo and Ruanda Urundi of Schedule II - Benelux, which has been transposed into the Brussels Nomenclature (Document G/20). (...) It will be recalled that the transposed text of Schedule XIX - United Kingdom is contained in the First Protocol of Rectifications and Modifications, but an alternative method would be by a protocol substituting the new schedule for the old.
