After the 2004 elections, he was tasked to formulate and implement an (ultimately successful) International Lobbying Strategy for South Africa’s nomination as President of the World Conservation Union (IUCN) based at Gland (Geneva), Switzerland. More recently he was responsible for the development and implementation of a model for enhancing Environmental Reporting by blue chip companies on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange in order to facilitate the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by South Africa. He is currently Project Coordinator for the Seed Initiative, housed at the World Headquarters in Gland, Switzerland.
