The Working Group met with senior authorities from the executive and judicial branches of the State, including the Minister for Justice; the Minister for Health; the Minister and Chief of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic; the Minister and Chief of the Human Rights Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic; the Minister and Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic; members of the Superior Tribunal of Justice and the National Council of General Public Defenders; a representative of the Federal Council of Lawyers Guild of Brazil; the National Council of the Public Ministry; the National Council of Justice; the National Secretariat of Public Security; the National Penitentiary Department; the National Ombudsman on Human Rights; the Human Rights Defence Council; the Secretariat for Policies on Women; the Secretariat for Policies on Promotion of Racial Equality; the Health Provision Secretariat; the National Secretariat for the Promotion of Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights; and the National Secretariat for the Promotion and Defence of Human Rights. 5.
