INTRODUCTION 1.1 The Technical Instructions prescribes ID 8000 to facilitate the transport of certain consumer commodities (such as those for personal care or household use) when these goods are package and distributed in a form intended or, suitable for, retail sale. 1.2 Part S-7;2.2.2 of the Supplement to the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (Doc 9284SU) contains a list of items that may be carried in the main deck compartment of a passenger aircraft, where the cargo compartment meets the certification requirements for a Class B or C cargo compartment. 1.3 In the list of classes or divisions where exceptions regarding specific UN numbers have been identified, the Class 9 list contains a typographical error being “UN 8000”, instead of using the correct prefix of “ID 8000”. 1.4 This issue has been reviewed by the DGP Working Group on the Supplement (DGP-WG/SUPP) with recommendations put forth in the appendix for consideration by the DGP. Case No.: IT-95-17-A 9 January 2007 Rules explicitly regulates the possibility for the parties to supplement their briefs on appeal, it has been recognised in the jurisprudence that an appellant may supplement his or her brief, pursuant to Rule 127(A)(ii) and (B) of the Rules, by filing the said supplement with sufficient reasons constituting good cause for the Appeals Chamber to recognize it as validly filed." (...) Having reviewed the Appellant's Proposed Supplemental Brief, the Appeals Chamber accepts paragraphs 1-7 and 10- 1 1 as validly filed to supplement Grounds 1.2(2) and 1.3 of the Appeal Brief.
