REPORT OF THE SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON THE RIGHT TO FOOD, OLIVIER DE SCHUTTER : ADDENDUM
In such circumstances, net food-importing countries may undergo balance
of payments problems: the difficulties these countries encountered through the period of
2007-2008, when these prices rose significantly, provided a vivid illustration of this risk (see
A/HRC/9/23, annex I, paras. 6-7). (...) The micro-economic impacts of trade liberalization: the shape
of the global food supply chain and the dualization
of the farming sector
25. (...) This constitutes a source of dependency for the farmers who supply them. That dependency is
further increased by the fact that, in order to comply with the standards of global retailers,
farmers wishing to be included in global supply chains must use external inputs, including
improved varieties of seeds, often supplied by companies which occupy an oligopolistic position
on the market.

the total supply of and demand for housing should be considered; equal attention must be

NOTE VERBALE DATED 12 FEBRUARY 2021 FROM THE PERMANENT MISSION OF ARMENIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA ADDRESSED TO THE OFFICE OF THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
Moreover, to date, Azerbaijan continues the very policy of ethnic cleansing and annihilating
Armenians in Artsakh. A vivid evidence of that is the wiping out of the entire Armenian
population from the territories that fell under the Azerbaijani control, which was carried out
through massive war crimes and ethnic cleansing.

REPORT OF THE SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON THE HUMAN RIGHT TO SAFE DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION, CATARINA DE ALBUQUERQUEADDENDUM : MISSION TO TUVALU (17-19 JULY 2012)
For these reasons, as well as the very vivid memory of the drought in 2011,
several people stated that they had little confidence in the sustainability of the water supply
and feared the consequences of a future drought. (...) Women and girls are
traditionally responsible for domestic water supply and sanitation, and for maintaining a
hygienic home environment; they often miss school and or employment opportunities in
order to accomplish those indispensable tasks. (...) The Government must consider sustainable water supply measures that
ensure the affordability of water.

Statement of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh region
of Azerbaijan on “repair-restoration” of Yukhari Govharagha mosque
by Armenia
Destroying the cultural, historical and religious heritage of Azerbaijani people in the
occupied Azerbaijani lands, Armenia is preparing for the provocative “opening” of the
Yukhari Govharagha mosque in Shusha following the “repair-restoration”.
This is the one more vivid sample of illegal activity carried out in our occupied
territories by Armenia and its vassal criminal regime.

NOTE VERBALE DATED 1 OCTOBER 2020 FROM THE PERMANENT MISSION OF ARMENIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA ADDRESSED TO THE OFFICE OF THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
However, if in the past Turkey played the role of a shadow
puppeteer who directed the actions of Azerbaijan, now Ankara is directly involved in the
internationally wrongful acts of the Azerbaijani authorities against the people of Artsakh,
encouraging the criminal actions of Baku, providing military-political and informational
support, providing with weapons, in particular, unmanned aerial vehicles and multiple
launch rocket systems, sending military specialists and recruiting mercenaries from the
Middle East to use them in the war against the Republic of Artsakh. A vivid example of
Turkey’s aggressive behaviour is the destruction of an Armenian aircraft by a Turkish F-16
fighter jet in the airspace of the Republic of Armenia.
