The type of amphetamine-group substance used in different regions varies considerably. (...) In Africa, use of amphetamine-group substances may comprise mainly the use of prescription stimulants. By contrast, experts in Brazil report the use of cannabis, tranquillizers and amphetamine-type stimulants to be decreasing, with an increase in the use of cocaine, especially in the smoking of crack and pasta base.28 Also, a study released by the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (SENAD) of Brazil in 2010 found a decrease in the use of amphetamine-group substances among students, from 3.2 per cent in 2004 to 1.6 per cent in 2010.29 36.

Le 25 janvier 2021, la rentrée scolaire 2020-2021 a pu se tenir et près de 6 millions d’enfants ont retrouvé les bancs de l’école dans un environnement d’apprentissage protecteur et sécurisé. « Chaque élève a son masque et des dispositifs lave mains à l’entrée des classes » explique Andiourou Ongoiba le directeur de l’école Boucary Ouloguem III. « J’ai l’esprit tranquille grâce à toutes les mesures prises à l’école. » - Aïchata Avec l’appui de l’UNICEF et de ses partenaires, grâce au soutien du gouvernement du Danemark et de la Coopération allemande, le Ministère de l’Education Nationale a fourni les dispositifs d’hygiène nécessaires à la tenue des examens, à savoir 481 dispositifs de lavage des mains, 21 354 masques, 272 bouteilles de gel hydro alcoolique et 4205 savons liquides pour l’Académie d’Enseignement de Mopti. Les besoins restent nombreux en matériel scolaire comme les tables-bancs, dont un nombre supérieur est nécessaire afin que chaque élève puisse être seul par table-banc et respecter la distanciation sociale. « Pendant l’arrêt des cours, je suivais les leçons à la télévision, je révisais et faisais des exercices mais c’était difficile » raconte Aïchata. « Je ne pouvais pas poser de question quand je ne comprenais pas mais surtout j’avais la nostalgie de l’école et de mes camarades. » « J’ai l’esprit tranquille grâce à toutes les mesures prises à l’école. » Aïchata UNICEF Mali/2020/Keita Bassirou Togo, le père d’Aïchata, confirme : « Mes cinq filles sont restées à la maison et, même si elles aidaient leur maman et participaient aux travaux ménagers, ce n’était pas une situation facile. (...) Grâce à l’appui de la Coopération Allemande (BMZ) et d’autres partenaires, l’UNICEF, en collaboration avec le gouvernement du Mali, met en oeuvre de nouvelles approches adaptées pour la continuité de l’apprentissage et permettre aux enfants de toutes les communautés, particulièrement les plus vulnérables, de bénéficier de leur droit à l’éducation malgré un contexte de pandémie. « J’ai peur de la maladie mais je suis confiante pour l’avenir » affirme Aïchata en regardant ses camarades studieusement installés. « J’ai l’esprit tranquille grâce à toutes les mesures prises à l’école.

(...) The global new psychoactive substances market continues to be characterized by the emergence of a large number of new substances belonging to diverse chemical groups. (...) According to the third Andean survey on drug use among university students (aged 18–25), cannabis was the most commonly used substance.21 The use of cocaine, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), “ecstasy” and tranquillizers was also reported as common among the students (see figure VI).
