Slaughter hall and other rooms:  Yard and lair area in a slaughterhouse shall be kept clean and shall be disinfected at least twice a year.  No animal, other than an animal to be slaughtered, shall be allowed into the premises of slaughterhouses or slaughter points.  Slaughter hall and other parts of the slaughterhouse shall be allowed and washed (kept clean, washed, disinfected) as frequently as possible, particularly before and after the slaughter operation.  All equipment, implements, tables, utensils, including knives, axes, saws and containers, shall be washed and cleaned at intervals before and after the slaughter operation. (...) This container shall be under the supervision of the meat inspector at all times.  No stomach or intestine shall be allowed out to the slaughterhouse without first being thoroughly washed, cleaned and scalded.  All meat and offal intended for sale should be transported in a closed container. To avoid cross contamination, meat and visceral organs and guts shall be placed in different containers.  Containers for meats or offal should be cleaned before reuse.  No offal or other refuse shall be fed to dogs or other animals.

On 15 July 1938, a bomb exploded which had been thrown by an IZL element in front of a Jerusalem mosque as the congregation were coming out, and 10 people were killed and 30 wounded. On 26 July 1938, a car planted with explosives by IZL exploded in the Arab market in Halfa. 70 wounded. (...) As a roault, 27 Arab citizens were martyred and 39 others wounded. On the aams day. thrse Arab8 wsre killed in Tel Aviv and four wounded, and three were killed in Jerusalem and six wounded by a IZL terrorist. On 29 Nay 1939, some IZL members threw bombs intc Koxy cinema in Joruulu, and 18 people were wounded. On 26 August 1939, the IZL gang exploded a bomb in Jaffa which killed 24 Arabs and wounded 35 others.

A shortage of electricity, fuel, clean and safe drinking water, and sanitation services, for example, have led to the outbreaks of preventable diseases such as typhoid, hepatitis and diarrhoeal diseases. (...) Evacuation of some in need of medical treatment has been taking place, but most of the sick and wounded are left without treatment and medicine in the besieged city. (...) In the Geneva Convention (I) for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field Art. 24 states that medical personnel should be respected and protected under all circumstances and at all times.

As we indicated in our oral statement in September 2016, the United States government has pledged money to help clean up the unexploded ordnance left over from the Vietnam War. (...)
